Male angels are awesome!

Why always showing the female ones?

I greatly agree. If you look at the names of the angels in any holy scripture, the ones that interact with humanity are mainly male. I'm not flaming female angels of course. And I really dislike the fact that people portray Gabriel as a woman for the most part. Gabriel is a man's name, Gabrielle is a womans. I just think it would be refreshing to see someone who draws a known angel and does their research first.

Sorry for the rant, lol.

No rant at all - exactly the way I see it.
Poor Gabriel....he's a rather good looking male angel. I always tend to go "guuuh!" when I see him portrayed as a woman. I have no clue why they do that.
There are far too many female angels around these days - some people even believe that all angels are female...
